This is a cookbook prepared by the members of the Lone Star Dutch Oven Society. According to the introduction, "Each of the recipes in this cookbook was prepared in a competition and is tried and true." In addition to the recipes, there is a history of Dutch Ovens, information about buying and breaking in the ovens, and tips and tricks. The recipes are divided up by meal: breakfast, main dishes, sides, soups and stews, breads, and desserts.
